G's New Room

G's new room is finally done. He has been living with a pink floral comforter and strange blue cushion on his chair for a few weeks. I would have made him wait till the room was ready to move into it, but the fighting between he and M was too much. Separating them has helped the battles tremendously. He helped design the quilt and had chances to put in his ideas along the way. I think it turned out great. What he will be surprised with when he gets home from school today is
1- it is done and all put together as a surprise
2- I covered the chair cushion and made pillows without him knowing it.

One picture still to hang is a VanGogh poster of sailboats that D got for his first apartment. I know he is happy that it will be used again.

Now M wants to personalize his room with new quilts-- fat chance on that. I think I can convince him to keep the race car quilts in the twin bed room if we add some new posters and a night light. Wish me luck!
