Our First Alabama Family Adventure!

I have never claimed to be a big football (or any sport) fan, but even I had fun when we went to A-Day on Saturday for our first Alabama adventure.  The University of
Alabama won the national championship in college football last year.  The stadium is huge.  The fans are rabid. Football is not just a fall sport in this state, it year round through commentary, radio shows, spring training, recruiting, pre-season games, and then the "real season".  The boys were interested on the way there and had lots of questions we could not answer about what it would be like.   Here they are watching everyone get ready for the scrimmage game.

 Two of the boys who were not having any fun-- you can tell from the looks on their faces they are so sad;  nearly in tears from the torture of watching the game and eating and eating and eating.

I would say that our first Alabama adventure was a great success.  love and hugs, B
