Alabama Messed Up My Mother's Day Gift

When you read the post from Thursday, May 10 you can know that Alabama messed up my Mother's Day gift by passing the bill called the "Flexible School Calendar Bill"-- isn't that name ironic. A note to the tourist board- OOPS, I mean Legislature who runs the state: a flexible plan would be here are 365 days in a year, use 180 or 1080 hours of instructional time to educate your children, anytime that works for your district within those 365 works for us. Thanks Alabama! This reminds me--got to get registered to vote and make note of who voted for the tourist board to run the education system. Rant over. B
