Go Rainiers!

Friday evening D and I were planning a secret adventure with the monsters. We thought the weather would be perfect for the zoo... and it would have been if the zoo were open past 4 on Fridays. So we had to punt and come up with a different secret adventure. Big shout out to D for coming up with one the whole family loved: a minor league baseball game-- the Tacoma Rainiers VS the Salt Lake Bees. This was the first baseball game for all the kids.

A large portion of the first innings were spent snacking.
This was the smile one certain kid had the whole time.

The Rainiers mascot is Rhubarb the Reindeer ( don't ask me why). He was really funny and did a lot of entertaining during the game which all five of us enjoyed. He was a pretty good dancer. He also did several skits with the umpires that were funny.

The rest of the weekend was spent planting and playing outside and D took care of a Pacific NW spring cleaning job : powerwashing the driveway to clean off all the algae and yuck. Here is the last section of driveway with the children's names written in the yuck.

I also tried out the powerwasher and found it to be an excellent cleaning tool. Just trying to figure out how much damage I might cause trying to clean up the boys bathroom with it.
Hope everybody has a terrific week!
love and hugs, B
