That's not the current project. That is the last big project, Baby C's quilt. And each time I start a quilt I think I will never top what I did last or I will never have an idea that terrific again. And then some time passes and a little glimmer of an idea begins and then it grows. And then it gets way out of hand and I wonder if it is even in my ability range to complete it. But the work begins and the idea is so good I just have to find a way to make it work. And during the work-in-progress part it is so fun to see how it comes together and how the puzzling problems are solved. By completion the boys are asking if we have to give it away. I have reached well beyond my ability on the new project. It is off the hook on color, design, and technical construction. (And I can't find my pincushion.) Don't worry Jill, it will be done before Baby Z is in Kindergarten..... Maybe.... I hope.... Maybe it will be a high school graduation gift.
love and hugs and get to work, B
