G loves soccer. For the first time he is trying indoor soccer at the Y; I was not up for the roulette of outdoor soccer in the Pacific Northwest yet. One of the dads stepped in as coach at the first practice and he is wonderful with the kids and keeps them organized and keeps them moving. G glowed at practice Friday and I couldn't exactly describe it to D. then he saw for himself on Saturday game day. He is in his element. He knows where to be on the field and fights for the ball and the team color is green which is his favorite. Oh, and he made a goal for his team. Here he is with his game face on....
And being bossy on the floor telling teammates where to stand.
My favorite part of the game Saturday (besides his goal and watching him sit on the side cheering for his team) was when he was playing and heard D and I cheer for the gators and he looked at us and winked before going right back to trying to steal the ball. Too hilarious!love and hugs and Go Gators! B
