M's First Day of Preschool

One small step for M, one giant leap for mommy. M began preschool today. He was delighted (though it doesn't show in the pics). He loves his monkey backpack so much it had to have its own picture.

M has the same teachers that G did 2 years ago. M doesn't remember them from then, but warmed up right away at the visit. He told me about singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" and going outside and about the toys. He was interested in the fact that he didn't have to take his own snack, but everyone takes turns bringing in a snack to share. Not sure how he will do with that concept-- he is a bit demanding and wants what he wants when he wants it.
