Fourth Grade Camp Report

Here is a report on E's fourth grade camp directly from the source. Take it away E....

On Monday I got up at 6 AM even though I had been awake since 5:30. Then I put on my clothes and went downstairs and turned on the TV! So far I thought the day was going great! After I ate a bowl of DELICIOUS Captain crunch. Then I packed my delicious lunch of lots of junk food!!! Then I went through the check list and looked through my stuff! Then Mom woke up the little kids. I put every thing that I was taking in the car (or in Virginia known as Nut Bus)!!! :) Then we drove to school and I put my luggage in the luggage pile and went to see my friends in my cabin!:) In my cabin I had my friends and my two cabin leaders Mr.M and Mr.H!!! Then I waved good by to Mom!!! Then I got on the bus to go to camp. Which reminds me the name of the camp is Camp Killoqua. Then on the bus for an hour we got in line to get on the ferry!!!:):):) When we got on the ferry we parked and got off the bus!!!:) On the ferry we walked around and I got some pics! Then we got back on the bus and drove about 20 minutes to camp!!! When we got there we got introduced to the camp director ! We than ate lunch and I ate with my friend and his Dad. Then we took a five MILE hike! Then we ate dinner and went to bed at 9 PM!!! TUESDAY! I woke up at 5:30 AM and went to breakfast at 7 AM. Then we went on to our activities! P.S each day has 1 big activity and like 12 more small activates. The big activity of the day was canoing! My canoe was the fastest and we won 3 races! After all are activities we ate dinner. After that we went back to our cabins for an hour. At 7:15 PM we went on a night hike!!! After that we went to bed. WEDNESDAY! I woke up at 6:00 PM!!! When I woke up all I could think was 6 AM finally waking up at 6 AM. The activity of the day was rock climbing and archery!!! We first did rock climbing! I made it to the top and believe it or not it was CREEPY!!! Then we did archery and I hit a bulls eye!!! Then we ate lunch and than we did other stuff and then we ate dinner !!! Then we did are skits !!! My cabin imitated the teachers !!! Then we went to bed. THURSDAY!!!:)/:(..... I woke up sad because we had to leave. :( We ate breakfast and than we studied tadpoles and ate lunch and than we left! :( It was a long way back and when I got off the bus I was happy to see G,M and mom but I was also really tired! Guess what happend when we got home??? If you guessed the power went out,then you're right!!! Can't wait to see you guys in Virginia!!! E

landscapes. He has his mother's eye for interesting lighting. From the writing you can tell he loves exclamation points and if he could figure out how to insert emoticons this would have been filled with them.
